These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Maneki Kanji app (the "App") operated by Shawn Holan ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor to reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the software.

2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers optional in-app purchases, including auto-renewing subscriptions, which are processed and managed through the Apple App Store.

• All transactions are subject to Apple's payment terms and conditions.
• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

3. Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are handled solely by Apple and are subject to their refund policies. We do not process or issue refunds directly.

4. Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any changes, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to the name "Maneki Kanji", its logo, icons, layout, and design — are the intellectual property of Shawn Holan and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.

“Maneki Kanji” may be considered a trademark of Shawn Holan. Unauthorized use of any content or branding from the App is strictly prohibited.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the App or its content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the U.S. for any dispute arising under these Terms.
